Trumpet Lessons
by Jason Pellett
Welcome to Trumpet Lessons.  I created this site as a resource for my students, but I hope that other trumpet players find it useful.  I have tried to take some of the mystery out of playing the trumpet and playing expressively.  Because neither can be done without listening to great players, I also have a large collection of sound clips of the world's greatest players.
The Listening Room - Soundclips of some of the world's greatest players including out of print Maurice Andre and Maynard
The Trumpet Lessons Blog - All the useful tips that don't fit elswhere. Talk to me here.

This site is only possible because of the great teachers I have worked with over the years.  While there are many, I am especially indebted to Mr. John Head and Dr. Tom Gibson.  Dr. Gibson's site trombonelessons.com is also a large inspiration for this site, and I highly recommend visiting, even if you are not a trombone player.  He has a huge amount of good information for every brass player.
